The Dry Run Synchronisation Project started in December 2020, when DSP remotely assisted EuroFos in configuration and operational testing issues.
At the same time DSP LAB prepared a software solution using SNX and groovy to synchronise operational data from the N4 3.6 test environment to the current 2.6 production, for the following dry run testing:

  • Gate Operation
  • Barge Operations
  • Vessel Operations

The dry run testing using live operations, commenced in April 2021, and were completed in early May. They identified some errors on the TOS that needed to be resolved in order to upgrade.

On Saturday 29th May 2021, 2 DSP Senior Consultants, and a DSP LAB senior developer, provide 24/7 remote support for 5 days. The go-live was a complete success with only a couple of minor issues.

EuroFos operates at Fos-sur-Mer, the largest container terminal in France. EuroFos is responsible for some 60 percent of all container activity at the Port of Fos, handling 600,000 TEU annually. The terminal has direct access to the Rhone River going north to central France with excellent road and rail links to Western Europe. Eurofos is owned by PortSynergy, France’s number one container terminal operator with around 50% market share. PortSynergy is a 50% subsidiary of DP World and 50% of Terminal Link.
