Eurogate CTB has successfully migrated from their previous Terminal Operating System to Navis N4 on May the 1st 2020.

Located in Bremerhaven, Germany and offering complete intermodal connections to 130 ports worldwide, CTB is one of Northern Europe’s busiest and most important container terminals, handling over 2 million TEUs annually via continuous 24/7 Straddle operations.

Beginning in June 2018, the project team worked jointly with DSP to migrate the old mainframes systems to N4 piece-by-piece, focusing on the core system first, followed by the surrounding applications and systems, as well as thorough testing throughout each phase to ensure the system would perform optimally during the go-live. This approach lead in a smooth transition to N4.

DSP worked proactively with a large Team helping on various areas such as the implementation and customization of ECN4, the configuration and testing of posting rules for EDI, general N4 and XPS configuration with process definition. Moreover DSP contributed to the success of the project bringing in its proven approach, methodology and experience with the oversight and suggestions of his skilled Project Manager.

The success of the project takes on more value considering that Go Live support was organized remotely due to the restrictions and anti-covid measures of this difficult period.
